Brass · PVD coating
A flat sheet goes under the laser and comes out as a pattern. Hung as a screen, it divides a room without closing it off.

Stainless steel. Resists rust, and is the base for PVD gold, rose-gold and black.
Brass
A warm gold tone. Left bare it darkens slowly with age; a lacquer keeps it bright.

A reddish-brown that develops a patina over time unless it is lacquered.

What is PVD coating?
PVD is a coating applied in a vacuum chamber. It gives stainless steel a gold, rose-gold or black finish and resists tarnishing.
Which metal suits an outdoor screen?
Stainless steel, or M.S. with powder coating. Bare M.S. rusts. Brass and copper weather and darken outdoors unless they are lacquered.
Will brass and copper change colour?
Yes, slowly, if left bare. Both age and develop a patina. A clear lacquer slows this down.
Can I use my own pattern?
Yes. Laser cutting follows a drawing, so a traditional jaali, a logo or a custom design can all be cut. Very fine detail depends on the sheet thickness.
